Rules

  • The Auction Chairperson and Auctioneer shall have final discretion to determine winning bids in the silent and live auctions.
  • Unless otherwise indicated, all auction items and services must be used by their expiration date. It is strongly recommended that you contact donors of services as soon as possible to make arrangements for use of donation.
  • The SDS PTG has attempted in good faith to accurately describe all items and their values. Everything is sold “as is.” The SDS PTG shall in no event be responsible for any item or service. Buyers shall rely entirely on their own judgment and inspection.
  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Auction items have been donated by friends of the school and may not be exchanged or refunded for cash.
  • All items must be paid in full and collected at the end of the auction. In determining the tax deductibility of items purchased at the auction, Revenue Ruling# 67-246 issued August 4, 1988, reminds bidders that no deduction is allowable except to the extent the fair market value at retail of the item or service received. SDS PTG reprints this information here to exercise its responsibility to fully inform its supporters of the applicable tax law.
  • All proceeds benefit the children of St Dominic School.
  • In the event there are any unpaid winning Items that are left behind, a committee member will reach out once to the winning bidder, if payment & pick up is not done in a timely manner then we reserve the right to offer the item(s) to the last person who was outbid.
